"従業員の方のサービスは非常に良かったです。バイキングも値段を考えれば種類も多く、地域の郷土料理に近いものはおいしかったです。本館に泊まりましたが、設備が古く機能はしていても、扉の軋みや重みが激しかったり、隣の部屋の声がまる聞こえだったり、空調の強弱がコントロールしにくかったり、相当ストレスを感じました。また、何の臭いかはわかりませんが、部屋は独特の臭いがしました。交通手段は湯快リゾートの無料送迎バスに限られ、レンタカーが無いと行動は制限されます。特に、チェックアウトの日は乗りたかった送迎バスが満席で、タクシーも捕まらず、相当早く駅に到着する路線バスで移動せざるを得ず、また、路線バスも一番近いバス停の路線は本数が少なく、大人だけならまだしも、子供連れには絶望的な立地です。行った日はお湯も温度が低く、入っている人のマナーも、騒いだり、ある場所を占領したり、余り良くなかったです。従業員の方のサービスは非常に良いだけにこのハードウエアのマイナスは相当残念です。"

"We had Suite Room B and it was very spacious and well maintained. Rurikoh had many good services (free shuttle to/from Kagaonsen train station, spa w/massages, outdoor foot onsen, taiko drum performance, free afternoon snacks), a beautiful outdoor onsen and large indoor one, very good traditional Japanese breakfast, and very welcoming staff. A short walk (approx 8 min) to several grocery stores and restaurants."

"This resort appears to be popular with families with little kids. We got a room with 2 beds and 2 futons so it was larger than the usual futon only rooms. It had a bathroom but no shower, with expectations that you would shower at the onsen. They had free parking which was nice. The breakfast was the best buffet breakfast of our trip with lots of items to choose from. "

"We enjoyed being able to watch the river as we bathed in the open air bath. Plenty of amenities provided, staff was super friendly and helpful, and room was lovely and spacious. Japanese breakfast was huge and delicious and it was wonderful to try some regional specialities."
