"Comfortable, firm beds and pillows. Good breakfast buffet with both western and Japanese options. There are free snacks and coffee in the lounge area, and you have an option to get a light early afternoon meal as well. Hotel is next to a grocery store, where we easily picked up anything else we needed. Staff are courteous and very helpful. Our 8-year-old loved the hotel. We would stay there again."

"Great hotel. Clean, modern and right in the middle of downtown. Short walk to shopping, public transportation, restaurants, etc. The immediate area around the hotel can be a little touristy and obnoxious, but it didn't diminish our time there. Note: don't pay for the breakfast in advance, there are many restaurants & coffee shops in the neighborhood, and you are sure to find something you like very quickly. Recommended!"

"The rooms are spacious unlike the hotel I stayed at in Tokyo. The Staff are very adorable and friendly and polite and hospitable honestly it’s the full package. The services here are superb and the atmosphere is great. There’s tons of amenities unlike the hotel I stayed at in tokyo like the gym, spa, sauna, business room, pool etc."

"Spacious room for 3. Near to Nishiki market and subway station but 40mins walk to Kyoto station. Bus stop across the road to bring you to Kiyomizu Temple"

"Hotel is in a lively shopping street with easy access to the metro and the fantastic Gion area with its lovely old town shops, and eateries. The hotel is clean and the staff very helpful. It might benefit from additional laundry facilities as it has 2 machines which we found to be almost constantly in use, but minor issue. The Onsen was marvellous and the room couldn’t be faulted. A great stay."

"Loved my stay at this hotel. It was the perfect place to come back to after a day out. And even if you decide to stay indoors, the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and relaxing (not to mention the spa!). The staff were attentive, and the hotel was very clean and situated in a convenient location. I would stay here again."

"The rooms are large for Japanese hotels. When I requested a quiet room, it was changed immediately. Loved the bar for informal dinners. Close to bus and subway. Good shopping within easy walk. Friendly staff. Excellent French bakery next door."

"Nice modern rooms combined with a traditional Japanese style. The bathroom was a good size with a separate area for sink and toilet and a wet room shower/bath. The location was good, just around the corner from Marutamachi underground station, linking to main Kyoto station via the Karasuma line. The hotel is also only a short walk to the Kyoto imperial palace park. Breakfast was nice, I had the western option which was a section of bread rolls, eggs, tea, smoothie and soup. The hotel also has a very pleasant lounge area for guests to sit and relax. Staff were very attentive and polite and rooms were kept very clean and well looked after. I would definitely stay again. "
