"Mostly good, the hotel is fine, but I can see it declining. Spa is closed, staff at front desk is not fluent in english (before they were), and Casa Lingo restaurant is awful"

"This Marriott Parkview hotel is located near a major city park and shopping center, and quite close to a subway station. The facility is excellent, but food service for both breakfast and lunch buffet is declining in quality, not fitting for a 5-star hotel, and not nearly as good as the other Marriott we stayed previously."

"Staff were exceptional, so helpful and friendly. The room was spotless and the housekeeping staff always kept to our requested time and left everything spotless. The area around the hotel has lots of restaurants and a quick 5 minute walk to the metro station puts the rest of Shanghai on your doorstep. I would stay again the next time we visit Shanghai."
