"We had a great stay! The rooms were spacious, well kept and the whole property was maintained very well. The staff was very friendly and took care of us. The concierge and front desk were helpful to arrange a tour guide and activities as needed. We enjoyed the morning walk around the Jaipur old city, our day touring Amer Fort and the City Palace, as well as a mini-safari at the Jhalana Leopard Reserve with guides from the hotel. Would comfortably recommend a stay at the Samode Haveli. "

"Poor service: I booked this room for my 76 yr-old father who was traveling from BC, Canada. (Nov 14, 2022) When he arrived on the property, he asked the manager/owner for use of the bathroom (after his 6-hr car ride) before checking-in. This manager yelled at him to go to some bathroom outside. He was painfully rude and demeaning. "This was an exceptionally unique property. Dhananjay is the hotel owner and part of the heritage family. He was very kind and accommodating from the moment I booked the stay. He arranged rides when needed and it was easy to order food/drinks during open kitchen hours. Buffet style breakfast was included. Very good food with both local and western options! We got thirds. I was incredibly lucky to celebrate Holi in Jaipur with my family. The hotel had quite a lovely intimate party in their garden....

"Pros- Location, well furnished rooms and restaurant food. Cons- Dirty linen, poor Wi-Fi and sub-par staff hospitality. "

"I didn't book a five-star hotel so I didn't expect one. However, my biggest issue with the property is the crappy Wi-Fi. They didn't clean the room during my stay. And it seems to have an electrical issue that makes the light flicker intermittently. The staff tried to be helpful and apart from that its was okay. "

"The staff made me pay for all days of stay upfront. When I wanted to change my mind and get a refund the management didn't co-operate. This is no way a fair deal, there was unnecessary loss of money. The staff and the service was OK. I should have been refunded the money for the time I didn't want to stay and I actually checked out the second day itself."

"When i reached hotel is closed and its very pathetic that hotel.com is booking and still hotels are closed form last 3 to 4 months and its my very worst experience.I have talk to hotel owner and he says that i don't know how the hotel.com is accepting booking and we are closed form last 3 to month . I think hotel.com is doing Freud and we are not responsible for your money if deducted by hotel.com. "
