"Little gem of a lodge very close to downtown."

"There are no words sufficient to express the degree to which we loved our stay at the Scott Hotel in Edinburgh. The staff are the nicest, warmest, most friendly people imaginable, and all catered to our smallest - and largest -requests! They moved serving tables to accommodate us and our friends for a supper in their cozy Velvet Lounge, and served the meals from their adjacent Brasserie restaurant, and all with smiles and bonhomie. "The room was always made up during the day and there was plenty of refreshments for us to share. The toiletries smelled nice and the towels were very soft. There was a dining area however we did not use this but from the outside it looked lovely and cosy "
