"This magnificent Kasbah is located in a majestic botanical garden adorned with roses, fig, lemon, almond, olive, and apricot trees. Our dinner and breakfast entrees were prepared from fresh ingredients in the garden. Our room was clean and spacious. The staff was exemplary and the outdoor pool and patios an oasis of peace and relaxation. "A good spot for a short stay. It’s about a 5-minute walk to the actual premises after check-in at the reception, but the porter assists with luggage, so it’s not a big deal. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even bringing Moroccan tea to our room after we got back from our dinner, which was a nice touch!"

"We stayed in a bungalow, and also had dinner at Dar Jnane. Hosts were friendly. Garden was a nice setting, and we enjoyed a walk to the old village and the palmerie in the evening. Dar Jnane was a pleasant stop en route to M’Hamid and Erg Chigaga. "

"Very friendly, helpful staff. Property is charming, quiet and comfortable and has lots of character. A bit far from most points of interest, including Djama El Fna, about a 20 min. walk, half on noisy, traffic-filled streets. But easy enough to get taxis to and fro."

"This hotel is special, unlike any other property i have stayed in during my week in Morocco. The ambience is great, secluded, with a beautifully attended garden, good food, excellent wine and a nice little swimming pool. The owners are super friendly and attentive. I would definitely return again."

"As the gateway to desert, with thorough Amazigh decoration in this place, it is the best place to begin whole new journeys. With pre-arragement, they will serve in-house breakfasts and dinners. I am planning to come back this place next year."

"We arrived late (@11pm) by car. We were tired, hungry, and just plain worn out! As soon as we arrived we were immediately helped with luggage and shown to our room. The kitchen had already closed but the manager made us a plate with bread, olives, and salad with a bottle of wine! It was fantastic! The house we rented was so clean and comfortable with a small kitchen and living room. The grounds were beautiful and the staff was so friendly. I would highly recommend this beautiful property! Our only regret is that we did not stay longer! *Just a note... don't use Google maps..use Waze! Otherwise you will be driving through every back alley in the town to get to the property! Haha..lesson learned! Thanks for a wonderful stay! Nicole "

"We had a lovely week at Bab El Janoub. Iatimad looked after us amazingly well and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The apartment was well furnished, the kitchen well stocked with everything you'll need to cook a basic meal. The shops nearby had all the necessary items we needed from delicious fresh bread to fresh eggs. Would happily recommend bab el janoub to anyone looking for a budget friendly apartment while they explore ouarzazate. "

"We had to stay one night in Ourzozate in our way to Marakech. Badr was the reception and he is nice and helpful in any ways. He did his best to make our stay great. The apartment is in great condition and a cafe next to it. We had dinner and breakfast over there. We enjoyed our meals. "
