"Our stay in the oasis was very exotic. The room was appropriate for the location but equipped with an AC and pretty comfortable beds. We had a great breakfast in the morning in the local style, with amazing fresh bread that was made on site that same morning. This was an excellent adventure, probably not ideal for people expecting luxury and glamour. "

"We really enjoyed our stay. It is like an oasis in the desert. Very nice peaceful atmosphere, very friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Children friendly, lovely swimming pool, outdoor gym, places to relax. Room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. If you hire a car and look for some quiet place away from busy town, this is definitely the best option."

"We found Dar Bladi on hotels.com after a long day of driving. It is not easy to get to by car as it is a bit out of the city and the roads are not well lit however, the place itself is lovely and the staff even more so. The room had water and some fruit waiting for us and they even brought us some tea and biscuits not to go hungry till dinner. Room was very spacious. The hotel offers dinner (set menu only) which is the reason we went out for dinner. "

"We had only planned to stay one night but Dar Amoudou is an excellent choice. It can be a bit challenging to find it but it’s worth it. Ali, the owner is welcoming and goes out of his way to ensure your comfort. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Very comfortable with great effort to satisfy our specific dietary requirements and a lovely view from the balcony. We enjoyed seeing both the sunrise and sunset from our balcony. "

"The property is huge as it is an entire apartment , and the beds are comfortable , with the spare bedding for winter. There is also the use of a shared washing maching and a great rooftop to look out from or hang washing.. The front desk is not 24/7 although im sure if you phoned someone would answer, eventually.., The place could really do with a good deep clean and a revamp entirely, as it does have great potential with a few caring touches. The center of the property is a winter garden...

"The owner is extremely pleasant, welcoming and helpful. He not only helped us finding a tailor and a car cleaning place but took us there and made sure that we were taking care of. "This property is beautiful and isolated, about 8 kms outside Ourzazate. It's set beautifully but star gazing might be the only thing that you could do around here in the evening. Staff is friendly and helpful. We did have 1 room that had heat issues (December time and heater didn't work) but they shifted us to a bigger room. Water was heated and the room heat was sufficient. Few flaws of this property- this property is in a remote location, deep inside the village. Few rooms, particularly the nearest rooms to the office at the ground floor and the one at the top floor, smelled terrible. Not sure if the smell was related to the cleaning supplies used or the old wood furniture or unwashed area rugs in the room. "
