"This well-maintained historic hotel exudes original charm and offers warm hospitality. One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was to avoid generic resorts or overly modern accommodations—I wanted a place with character, and this hotel delivered. My parents, both in their 70s, and I stayed in a connected room, which turned out to be one of the best decisions for our trip. We enjoyed plenty of quality time together while also having the privacy we needed. The hotel provides direct access to the river, and it's only a 10-15 minute walk to the old town. The mini bar and spa services are reasonably priced. Amiee, the hotel manager, is incredibly sweet and attentive, always ensuring that everything was comfortable and that we had the help we needed. My parents loved our stay here and would love to return if we get the chance. I hope that happens sometime in our lifetime"

"The hotel is located in the heart of HOI AN right next to river and has access to shops, restaurants, entertainment, etc. all within walkable distance. Very centrally located. The staff was superb. The rooms were clean and breakfast was great. I highly recommend this hotel."

We were able to check into one of our room early which was great, as we had plans as soon as we got there. the breakfast buffet was also delicious. "Ruby was the most fabulous and gracious host ! We were treated so special! She took breakfast orders the night before to ensure our breakfast could be served before our tours! The money exchange at the hotel was great! The view of the river was beautiful and the pool was clean and refreshing! The room was very clean and spacious! There was bottled water left for us daily ! The hotel was easily walkable to the night market and to Hoi A memories! We walked to many restaurants and shops! Would highly recommend Gem Riverside hotel! The hotel and staff , especially Ruby were truly gems!"

"The hotel was in a great location for walking to old town and the night market. Plenty of food options available. Room was comfortable and worth the money I paid for it. Breakfast buffet had plenty of choices. Staff was very kind and helpful"
