Thus, I booked the premium deluxe double bedroom with the window. When I checked in, they gave me the room with frosted window where I couldn't open or look outside. "Room was very clean. Shampoo, body wash and toothbrush provided. A bath mat and Hand towel would have been useful. Bottle water is available for purchase at reception I believe. Tv, fridge, aircon amc fan. Has an elevator. Hotel arranged for motorbike rental 150k a day delivered and picked up from Hotel. Parking is inside the hotel gates. "

"We had a great stay at the Equatorial. We had kids also and the staff was friendly and helpful (sadly this is not the norm at all 5-star properties in Vietnam, so it was a nice experience). The pool is great, I would recommend a room by the pool. The food was also very food (slightly pricy compared to alternatives, but comparable). I would recommend this hotel as great option for visiting HCMC. "

"A short drive from the airport, First Hotel is an excellent hotel with high quality rooms and facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the private tours were great - especially the Mekong Delta day trip. Staying in a non-touristy area was an immersive cultural experience. A highlight was the nearby cinema, which was a fun experience with its 4DX theatre."

"We really enjoyed the location, in Cho Lon area, means no other foreigners than us in the hotel and in the area. The staff was really devoted and easy-smiling, gave us good info (about Grab, SIM cards, etc) . The room was very very clean. The only small point was the fact that this room (804) located at the top of the hotel was also next to the lift machinery : that causes a kling-klong noise when the lift reverses its course. But we easily survived (9-nights) since this lift is quite not used...

"They only accept cash so be aware. Room is small with a layout that is not for a family. Bathroom is 1/3rd of room and no privacy. Down an alley and not real convenient location. "
