"This is a beautiful ecolodge and very well managed by Pedro and his staff. Pedro goes out of his way to make your stay comfortable. Their food options are very creative and excellent especially since we were vegetarians. The place is remote and provides a true jungle experience while still having the basic amenities to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. They have well organized guided walks both at night and during the day, several of them covered within the reservation. "

"We loved this place, despite the rain, and the fact that it had no air conditioning. It would have been nice, but there was a ceiling fan, and an oscillating stand up fan. The only downside, was the parking was about a 8 minute walk, out of the room down a path, across a bridge and up a small hill. "

"If I could, I would have stayed longer in this establishment. The pictures and description does not do justice to this amazing place. The rooms are old but in reasonable state, and they are clean. The breakfast is good and with a perfect view over the garden. The garden is the best thing about the place. "We had a great stay at La Quinta. The rooms were clean, and the food was good. The best part though was the grounds. At night we walked in the rain and searched for tree frogs, and we saw so many of them."

"Interesting place, when we pulled up in front on a busy street we thought we had the wrong place but after parking around the back it had extensive raised covered walkways going into the forest with many units farther back. The greeted us with a complimentary crushed ice drink that was excellent on a hot afternoon. Nice pool and staff and a good restaurant too."

"I hardly ever write a review unless it is to warn you but this place deserves my opinion. This place is amazing, David did everything to make sure our stay was unforgettable. The food is made with love. There are monkeys, birds of every kind, frogs and his knowledge of these animals is very impressive. You will feel like you are part of his family. Great communication before and after our stay. I will definitely come back. "

"Picked this place for location. But it’s outdated and an older hotel. Staff barely speaks English but were VERY friendly and willing to help. Breakfast was great. Nice pool in the property. Restaurant/bar next door with night time karaoke if you’re in to that. AC worked GREAT. Rooms were spacious but need updating. The bathroom lacked a mirror, so ladies must use the mirror in the bedroom area. But great price and if you’re only there to sleep, worth it. Great location close to other sight...

"La Finca Azul is a really nice place to stay. We only stayed for one night, but we wish we could have stayed longer. It's surrounded by beautiful nature, with a river nearby. The food was good, and the owner's daughters were really sweet to our two-year-old. If you want a peaceful getaway with nature and friendly people, this is a great place to go."

"I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express near the San Jose airport in Costa Rica and had a great experience. The location is incredibly convenient, especially for anyone needing quick access to the airport. The facility itself was fairly updated, and my room had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was cozy, and the space felt clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which made the experience even better. One of the highlights was the excellent fresh breakfast, which featured wonderful fruit and a variety of options to start the day right. "We only stayed one night. Check-in was simple and easy, The staff were all very friendly. The property is gorgeous and unique. Weather was really rainy and wet, so we didn't get to explore too much around the outside of the property. Our room was exactly as described and quiet, however, the walls are somewhat thin and you can hear other guests but not in a horrible way. It's more like a comfortable home rather than a hotel. The dining room was lovely, dinner was nice and the included breakfast was delicious. Delicious! It's a really neat area and we left the next morning to go straight to the volcano so everything was convenient and scenic."
