Our time at this hotel was nothing short of amazing. We were allowed to check in hours earlier than expected without any extra charges, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The room was spotless, spacious, and had all the modern amenities you could need for a comfortable stay.
The staff really made this experience stand out. Melek, in particular, was incredibly kind and helpful, and there was also another gentleman whose name I sadly can't recall, but he was equally great. The personal service throughout our stay made us feel really welcomed.
We were also surprised with a free breakfast upgrade, which was a lovely gesture from the hotel. The location couldn’t have been better, and the free shuttle service to the main tourist spots was a huge bonus.
Overall, it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had, and I’ll definitely be back next time I'm in the area. Highly recommend this place!

The Carina Gold Hotel is FABULOUS!!! First, the staff is warm, friendly and incredibly helpful. Second, the hotel is clean and comfortable. The air conditioning works well and the breakfast is worth the earlier wake up. Finally, the location can’t be beat. There hotel us between two tram stops, one right around the corner. A short walk to Aya Sophia and a convenient walk to the Grand Bazaar (the tram stops will lead you to the Spice Market, Karakoy, or the docks to Asia in less than 15 minutes). I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy their trip to Istanbul.

We absolutely loved our stay. The Penthouse suite had amazing views of Istanbul. We managed to spot some of the iconic buildings such as the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and Galata Tower.
The beds were so comfortable and overall the 4 bedroom suite was more rhan adequate for a family of 5.

I always go here when I visit. It's one of my favourite buildings in Istanbul. The harmony and respect between Islam and Christianity is touching but the architecture is spectacular when you consider how old it actually is. Don't forget to touch the lucky spot on the weeping column (to the right as you exit the main mosque).
