"Stayed for first time last night don’t hestitate to book staff are so welcoming there is few car park spaces but if can’t get one car park close by only £8 overnight.set in lovely quiet location by race course short walk to bars and restaurants lovely modern comfortable room with comfortable bed and lovely rainfall shower would highly recommend and will definitely return in future."

"I stayed in room 4, it was a very large and spacious room, however very cold. The bed was two single beds together, so it was rather large, although you could feel the divide in the middle, it was very comfy. TV was okay, it had basic channels. Mini soap, shampoo, coniditioner, bodywash provided. (No toothbrush) Shower was nice. The bar holding the smaller showerhead was a bit loose from the wall so probably could do with securing down! "Overall a very nice stay room very clean great comfy bed tea and coffee provided bathroom satisfactory good shower only problem walls are very thin and we could hear the people in neighbouring rooms talking quite clearly, but overall very nice hotel in an excellent position."

"I had a great stay here. I checked in late in the day however staff still showed great support welcoming me. My room was very clean and was decorated beautifully. The room had a great tea and coffee station and the bathroom featured a selection on lovely shower products. "

"I have stayed at this hotel many times, and I feel after this visit, i Will book direct, you can discus type of room , and position, i have booked direct before, much better. hotel is immaculate,clean every where , staff good . room was cold I rang reception , some one came right away to sort faulty radiator. great location"

"Lovely place, friendly staff and excellent location Unfortunately the wall between rooms was so thin I could hear every moment of my neighbour all night. Also the pillows are terrible- made for a very uncomfortable nights sleep. I appreciate you can’t do anything about the soundproofing in such a lovely old building but the pillows are a very cheep easy fix Would stay again but not whilst working! "

"I was attending a conference and the hotel was within 1 15 minute walk. Staff were very accommodating, particularly the night manager who was lovely. I'd definitely recommend the hotel to family, friends and colleagues visiting Chester."

"One night stay along with our 15yr old son. All 3 of us stayed in the same room which was very spacious, set out lovely and very clean. We were impressed with the decor and fealt comfortable right from first entering. Yes it could do with a bit of an update but nothing to worry about at all. "This is high quality b and b we stayed here for new year's eve and had a lovely time we was welcomed and the host was very friendly and helpful we would definitely stay here again, the rooms was clean and the beds was really comfortable, there was lovely little touches to the room and snacks and biscuits and little chocolates on the pillow the furniture and towels was high quality thank you for a welcoming stay "

Great stay only downside was parking

"Very helpful and cheerful staff. Room was comfy and clean. Breakfast was great. Only downside was the lack of parking and the car park is very tight. We used the public car park across the road at £8 for 24 hours so no big drama."
