"Amazingly cordial staff. Room was neat as a pin every day after it was tidied up. Absolutely quiet day and night. The neighborhood (East London) is interesting but it took me a while to grasp that it is the oldest settled part of the city, at least going back to the Romans. Of course, the Tower of London (really a castle, so it’s misleadingly named) is right at the doorstep, along with an Underground station with two train lines. Really a very nice place, not particularly trendy, just comfortable, great convenience and value, and nice people. I would definitely go back. I’m an actual guest, not a bot."

"The travelling public needs more properties like this! We don’t all value, or can afford, 5-star resorts. Cities are quickly becoming inaccessible for the masses…yet they make up the bulk of the tourism so many seem. Well done Point a. For creating a reasonably priced yet well thought out and executed experience for those of us who only use a hotel room to sleep. I didn’t come to London to watch TV afterall. "

"We arrived at the hotel at noon and was told our room wasn’t ready until 3.00pm I was not offered an early check in or a room upgrade as stated in my VIP status We left our luggage and returned at 6pm and our room was ready The hotel is amazing Clean and stylish My only negative comment is that the toilets are on the first floor and we’re in need of cleaning We also used both the Cardinal and the roof top bar during our stay "
