"My wife and I decided to spend our 23rd wedding anniversary in Galena. We haven’t been to the area since middle school for field trips/school ski trips etc. we live about 2.5 hours away so it was a nice scenic drive. The room was decorated beautifully, the fireplace was so cozy to sit by and the room was spacious for the 2 of us. The size of the bathroom was great with a nice, large jacuzzi tub, separate shower and double vanity! Truly, for us, the only downfall of the hotel was the noise from other rooms. We could hear when another tub was being turned on, voices(not clear enough to actually hear conversations) and movement from above us. We brought a fan with us so this was not an issue throughout the night as that provided enough noise for us. Overall. We havr no true complaints and we would definitely come back!!"
