Good for a 3 star motel. Lacked simple things like hand towels and a bath mat (only came with bath towels) and clearly someone had been smoking in the room before me (slight smokey smell and a shower cap over the smoke detector). The lady in reception was very friendly and helpful and went out of her way to find a park for my car and trailer.

I honestly think there are a lot of things can be improved in this hotel. The lady at front desk is quite kind and lovely. However, the facility is near a really busy highway. To go to the beach, you will have to cross the highway, which appears inconvenient for my family. Also, probably our unit is a corner unit, there is no wifi.

The staff were very helpful and considerate. Took time to explain late check in procedures and were very accommodating. The bed was so comfortable and good pressure shower which I love. Space looked exactly like the picture so was not disappointed. Overall a fantastic get away for a quick trip to Palm Beach.

The room was very clean, the bed comfortable. Lovely shower etc. Good lighting so I could read at night. However impossible to sleep due to road noise and the noise from other guests. People coming back late at night and guests above me getting ready to leave for airport maybe at 3-4am. No sleep.

We were really pleasantly surprised by the Red Star. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The lovely sitting chair and footrest was an unexpected touch of style. The location is great, with an easy walk to the restaurants and bars at Palm Beach and Currumbin.

The Red Star Hotel offers a world away from the city and the local fish and chips business is a delight to visit. The shopping at Eleanor Shopping Mall is fantastic and the local coffee shops are great. Be sure to check out the beautiful houses that line the beach and are world class along with the beaches. The beds are really clean and very comfortable ⭐️

It was perfect for my aim. The receptionist welcomed with lovely smile. The location was very convenient for dining and shopping. The main reason was to have a good rest between flights from Goldcoast AirPort and it was perfect. It is not 5 star hotel but it was a comfortable size of clean room with bathroom, verandah and carpark. I will definitely comeback for that price.

Friendly staff and access to transport, walkinng distance from Currumbin wildlife, the beach. Friendly and receptive staff. But if you are in the #1 room, you are right next to the stairs so it can get noisy depending on your neighbours, the property is also next to the highway soooo... Not great if you are sleeping past peak hours. Overall very good and very cost effective.
