"This was ideal for short stays. It was strange entering what was an office block but once inside the hotel was really nice. Friendly helpful staff greet you , the room was ideal for our stop over clean with fresh towels daily. The breakfast was amazing and lots of it. Something for everyone. The evening meals at the bar area were delicious and plenty of it. We ate there every night rather than go out. Overall a lovely weekend away. "

"Excellent staff and room, and the christmas decorations are lovely! Only negative comment is that the scrambled eggs were disgusting and the churros hard. Other than that the vreakfast was delicious."

"Does the job, Peter and all the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room is basic but is equiped with wardrobes, sinks and a comfortable double bed. The smart tv was a nice addition - not many hotels at this price range would offer this facility. Breakfast is do it yourself but the spread was good. "

"Check in was at 3pm, the room assigned wasn’t clean, was given another room that wasn’t cleaned. Third room they gave me had broken drawers, you couldn’t fit around the sink to get to the toilet. The shower had mould in it. Reception guy had a tracksuit on and his personal beat headset on his head when he eventually appeared and the manager hung up the phone on me when I called the number at the desk to check in. "On arrival, Reception staff very welcoming & helpful. Room was lovely, clean & definitely spacious enough for the the 3 of us. Modern, clean, bright bathroom. Lovely staff at breakfast next morning, very helpful & attentive, with a very satisfying breakfast. Unfortunately, we only had a 1 night stay booked, as we were attending an awards evening, but the whole ambience & setting was fabulous & quirky. "Lovely cosy little rooms with fabulous view. Well appointed, with a small fridge, massive shower, and instant oats and pastries left for you in case you wanted a snack in the morning. I would recommend arriving in the daylight if possible; partly for the view but also because the car park and approach to the rooms are poorly lit. Good value for money."
