"A fantastic hotel and centrally located in the Hakone area near Gora. The facilties, hot springs and service were outstanding. The shuttle service to Gora Station and Odawara Station were an added touch. We stayed 2 nights on our Japan trip but would loved to have stayed a little longer."

"We had an EXCELLENT stay! The staff constantly went above and beyond and catered to every need immediately. From handling your luggage to always picking up the phone in a couple rings to waving goodbye on the driveway, the hospitality is unmatched to any experience we’ve ever had. Not to mention that the food was incredible, particularly dinner which we felt was comparable to an omakase quality. We chose the room with a private onsen with a view of Mt. Fuji and had the best view. We might’ve lucked out and came during a non-busy season so there were minimal people on the rooftop bath for yet another great view of Mt. Fuji. Lastly, the free shuttles from the two train stations made it very convenient to get to and from the resort. Well done! "

"We splurged on a night here and it was definitely a highlight experience on our Japan trip. We used the public onsen on both days because the men and women alternate use of the 2 public onsens. One is a secluded, natural hot spring with lush greenery and a waterfall. the other is a modern infinity pool with awesome views. Each bath has a shower area and dressing area with luxe cleansers and lotions (at least for the ladies!). The rooms are beautifully appointed with comfortable beds and futons and the private balcony tubs are amazing too! Definitely arrive right at check in and stay until check out to maximize your experience. Be sure to stroll through the garden after dark - with the lighting it is magical. We also did the Lobster/abalone kaiseiki dinner. It was amazing, though perhaps for pickier eaters it's a bit of a waste as there is a lot of food including a magnificent sashimi platter. The morning buffet is unbelievable as well. Take note of shuttle hours as we missed the last shuttle to the hotel and finding the right bus was a bit difficult."

"The hotel is almost attached tot he JR station, so it is very convenient. The staff are very helpful and kind. There are many things to do in the area, a lot associated with the virees of Mr. Fuji, which can be spectacular. "
