"I had an excellent stay here. The apartment was very clean and tidy when I arrived and had all the conveniences one would need for an extended stay. It was out of the way of the high foot traffic areas but was a 6 minute walk to the city center. I would highly recommend it to others."

"Overall a really good stay. Apartment was spacious and comfortable in a good location which was quiet but not too far from the centre and local attractions. Only issues we had was a problem connecting to the Wifi which took well over 24 hours to receive a reply to our query and a couple of things would have made our stay even better, for example, a small shelf in the shower would be useful for toiletries and a kettle that doesn't spill! "Do not stay here. My son and I were very disappointed with this place. It is terribly mis-represented, the bathroom was dark as the lights do not work and smells of cigarette smoke, the bathroom door does not close, the shower door is a safety hazard as it is completely disconnected so you have to lift it up and move it to the side, it can fall over and break if you are not careful, the couch is not as pictured, it is a different thing covered in stains, the outdoor chair is completely broken...

"The pictures for this property are very deceiving. Property is not as nice as depicted. Also, there is no parking which is listed on the description, but I failed to notice this, my bad. We arrived on a Sunday and there was no one available to tell us where to park, where a garage was etc. We could not reach anyone on Sunday when we arrived. "Great location. Property is very small. No place to put bags/hang coats etc when the bed is pulled out. Also not clean floor. Not enough TP. Lots of ants! "

"Great location in a great neighborhood close to downtown, near shops and tram. Beautifully furnished with fresh bedding and good amenities, in a beautiful building. We did have to buy our own sugar, coffee and basics. There was no microwave. Would have liked if basics were supplied, but would still highly recommend !"

"The property was extremely clean and well kept. We arrived early, and left late, but were able to store our luggage while we continued touring Bergen. We had trouble with hot water however the host was so responsive. She eventually moved us to another apartment. Location was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere!! I can't say enough good things about Christine and Kristen!! Would definitely recommend this property and host. "

"Lovely view from balcony, room had a sofa as well as desk and Chair. Hotel was very grand and nice breakfast, although shame there isn't more options for vegan, as only had cows milk, eggs and pancake mix. Luckily enough fruit came out when I went back up for more bread. Room was poorly lit and was horrible buzzing from extractor fan /air conditioning unit from outside my room 117, wish I had asked for alternative room as really effected my sleep. "

"Amazing breakfast. Lovely setting and close to everything. There is a night club opposite which can be noisy at weekends. In both rooms there was a small problem which was reported to reception but I don’t expect to find such things. On arrival they wanted to put us in two rooms (booked together) four floors apart despite being asked by email to put us together. They did change it once I showed them the email. Other staff really friendly and helpful"

"Our stay at Opus XVI was delightful! The hotel exudes a warm and welcoming vibe, perfectly located for easy walks to shopping centers, supermarkets, pharmacies, and all the essentials we need. The breakfast was scrumptious and served as a wonderful start to our day. The bathroom amenities were top-notch as well, adding an extra layer of comfort to our experience. I’d like to extend a special thanks to the front desk staff, especially the incredible Martha, who provided us with outstanding assistance and was incredibly kind throughout our visit. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would eagerly return on our next trip to Bergen!"
