"Stayed here for 2 nights for sightseeing in the area. 10 min walk to the city centre so convenient. Lovely B&B, our room was great, clean and well appointed with little extra touches like the sweets and biscuits. Lisa our host couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast was excellent. "We had a 2 night stay in the Four Poster Room. The room was lovely and spacious with the bathroom upstairs. All the staff we came across were lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were given the option to put any food and drink purchased at the bar and restaurant and pay for everything at the end of our stay. We will definitely stay again."

"Disappointing stay (Joss room) which was a shame as location was perfect for me. Shower was broken, was offered communal shower but on close inspection I decided not to use. Blind in room doesn’t close properly, lots of light coming in, very noisy fountain out front which you can still hear with windows closed. Very poor Wi-Fi. Pub itself was lovely, staff friendly, no food on Mondays though."

"The stay is brilliant - waking up with the lions roaring and even going throughout the night (which did scare our 2yo!) was amazing. we would definitely upgrade to a lodge where you get a golf buggy next time as the zoo is difficult to get round on foot as it’s so hilly.
