Right on busline to get to Ponte Vecchio and downtown. 20 minute walk to Ponte Vecchio & Uffizi Gallery. Nice restaurants within walking distance to avoid overpriced restaurants in heart of Florence. What a fantastic stay at Hotel David. The hotel description is exactly as described, but even better when you stay there. All of the staff was wonderful, super friendly and attentive. The free hot breakfast was amazing. Having access to free coffee and tea throughout the day was such a nice perk. And the free happy hour was a great way to meet other guests and enjoy some flatbread pizza and wine. There are bus stops super close and taxi stand literally within steps of the hotel. The hotel was so clean and our room was so comfortable. Beds were comfy and the shower was amazing. We cannot wait to return!
