"Staff was friendly and helpful. The vibe of the area is away from the boardwalk business but close enough to everything. Room was well kept. The restaurant was lovely inside and offered poolside meals, great menu. Highlight of the hotel is definitely the patio, pool and the marina view. Safe place to stay if you're a solo traveler. Feels more like a pocket of relaxation than anything else. Would stay here again. "

"Beautiful and historic hotel. Loved staying here. Amazing location and the team couldn't have done more for us. Big room, lovely shower and decortaion, had a small internal patio area as well. All I'd say is, you're on Venice Beach, in a busy area, so be prepared for early wake ups and noise if you want a sea view room! It's well worth the compromise as the rooms are really comfy and sunset is qmazing. Remember it's an old building as well so walls are not thick but it's a beautiful hotel."

"On a adoré le déjeuner inclus, la proximité de la plage, l'accueil du personnel et le resto pizza ouvert tard. Cependant, nous étions très déçus que le Rooftop bar fermait à 20h, car c'était une des raisons principales d'aller à cet hotel. Pour le service aux chambres, nous avons demandé à 2 reprises de remplir le savon dans la douche, mais sans succès. Nous nous sommes lavés avec du shampooing tout le long du séjour."

"The hotel is fine. Solid location is a nice part of LA. However, the sound proofing is pretty poor. You can hear trucks driving by, people walking down the hall, and housekeeping working on rooms next door at practically all times. And the A/C is an old school unit by the window the only works OK. I stayed here for an NFL game at SoFi and I probably wouldn't stay here again."

"Very affordable hotel in a safe neighborhood. I was pleased at the spaciousness of the room, the cleanliness, and the overall comfort, especially for the price. My only suggestions are to provide a full length mirror and some body lotion and hair conditioner. Shampoo as provided but nothing else. Otherwise, great!"
