The Opera House, English Market, Washington Street and Oliver Plunkett Street are all short walks across the river too. "We had a noisy stay at the hotel due to some inconsiderate guests, but the hotel were amazing about it and moved us into a different room at 1am, provided free breakfast and parking and refunded half our stay. The room we moved to had super comfy beds and was very quiet. Breakfast was good but the best thing about the hotel was the staff. Denis the manager, Marie the receptionist and the night manager all went above and beyond. Many thanks "

"The overall hotel is great, breakfast is great and the people were great. We were a little surprised by the "simplicity" of the rooms. We expected something a little more fancy for the price. Walking distance from Blarney Castle and Gardens. It was my birthday and they broght me a dessert birthday platter which was delicious...thank you:)"

"We had a lovely stay in Fota, the staff were amazing and the food was amazing. The hotel itself is nice hotel but the spa is a bit underwhelming. My wife had a treatment and rated the treatment as excellent so that part is impressive it the spa facility itself that needs some work."

"Everything about the Lynwood House was wonderful! The room was beautiful, with a sitting area and a brand new on suite bathroom. There was a kettle for tea, a hair dryer, and a television. The bed was extremely comfortable and the views from the room are unmatched. Peter was so warm and welcoming, providing a bit of history and directing us to the best places in the town. We'd be glad to return on a future trip!"
