Omni Parker House
10/10 Excellent
"Great historic hotel right in the heart of everything!"
"We stayed at the Harborside Inn while in town for a concert at TD Garden. The hotel was the perfect “home base” for our stay. We were able to walk everywhere within 10-15 minutes and it was easy to drop back into the hotel to change or have a quick rest before adventuring out again. The staff were friendly and happily accommodated us checking in a little early as our room was ready when we arrived from a very long morning of multiple flights. The room itself was nicely decorated and clean. We had a city view King room and the natural light, exposed brick and extra seating area made the room feel very spacious. We had read some reviews about the city view rooms being a little loud due to traffic but we were on the 5th floor so barely noticed the noise.
The aquarium is about a 3 minute walk across the street and was definitely a fun way to beat the heat for a few hours. Faneuil Hall market is also steps away and has lots to see.
A couple of minor details that were more about the area than the hotel - the 7Eleven next door is a very small location with limited options for snacks and drinks, but good enough for grabbing some bottled water/soda etc. The nearby convenience stores don’t sell beer and wine, and the nearest liquor store closed at 6pm so if you are wanting to relax with a drink in your room after a day of exploring, be sure to grab what you need early.
Overall, our stay was absolutely lovely and we will absolutely stay at the Harborside again when we visit Boston."
"It was an amazing experience especially for my first time in boston, however, my fiancee was walked into by an employee while he was in a stall using the bathroom. His stall door was wide open and she just started cleaning it like he wasnt there. Other than that amazing workers, very kind and sweet."
"The staff was always super friendly and helpful. The rooms and facilities were clean. It was my first time in a hostel, and I’d definitely stay again. The coffee and pastries in the morning was an added bonus. "
