The only down side is if you arrive earlier than 4 you do not have access into the apartments and have to pay extra if you would like to get in by 2-3. "Great location, apartment was clean, welcoming, and cozy. Unfortunately the lobby, elevator, and hallways smelt awful. This did not change throughout our entire stay, despite seeing several cleaning ladies in the common spaces. "Our stay in the villa was great. It was perfect distance from the French quarter. With traffic, our drive to the French quarter was about 18-20 minutes. It’s nice to be slightly separated from the noise and traffic of downtown. The bed was very comfortable and seeing the sun rise near the water every morning was awesome. "

"My family of 4 with 2 teenagers really enjoyed our stay. It's hard to find an affordable 2 bedroom with Kitchen so this was really nice. My daughter enjoyed the hot tub but it was too cold for the pool. They sent entry instructions and we didn't have any issues with entry.You can pay for safe gated parking which we did one night but we found on street parking and used the bus the rest of the trip. It was super easy to navigate. I loved the w/d in the unit. We'd stay again. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The apartment was beautiful and just a short walk to the Quarter. My only wish is that there was more affordable parking. However, had I known what a short walk it was to everything, I wouldn’t have rented a car. Just something to keep in mind, if driving. Overall, would highly recommend. Will be staying again on my next visit to this beautiful city!"

"The hotel is beautiful and the staff is top notch. Kenny, at the door, was the best host and helped me get acclimated to the hotel and to the French Quarter. The room, was clean and had a gorgeous balcony. The heat, however, wouldn’t get above 62 degrees the first night. After I called maintenance, it couldn’t get above 68. That was fine for me, but it was weird that it couldn’t work better. "

"By far the best city and the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. The Generals Suite was amazing and very spacious! It was perfect for our Romantic getaway! Phillip has a private bar inside the hotel and he made us feel so welcomed. He helped us pick restaurants and helped us find the best places right there in the French Quarter! We definitely will be back!! "
