"Words cannot do justice to describe how beautiful this location is. We were absolutely stunned when we arrived not only by the beauty of the surrounding area but the building itself. The property is large and has tons of beautiful gardens and ponds to enjoy while you stay. The food is also absolutely delicious and the service was amazing. We really appreciated the staff and their service while we were there. I highly recommend this stay!"

"It was very fun to be so pampered and taken care of. As soon as we arrived, the staff were there ready to pamper us. One of the ladies spoke English, and was very helpful in navigating our first stay at a Ryokan. Dinner was very fun. The onsens were an exciting new experience as well. We thoroughly enjoyed it."

"Nice hotel. Huge room. The bathroom was bigger than the other Japan hotels we stayed at. All the staff we interacted with were fantastic. A bit of a language barrier but they tried their best to communicate. We got a really good rate for two days, included breakfast. Just so no one is caught off guard as I was, this is an adult hotel. "The property is nice and has all required aspects for a family stay with kids with a small kids library shelf near the reception, vending machine and dining hall access throughout. Staff were also very nice and parking was ample and easy. Only regret for this property was the carpet in the room was quite old, stained and dusty - it needs replacement or deep cleaning. "We had to arrive super late due to multiple travel issues, but they were still incredibly nice and accommodating despite that. The ryokan was gorgeous and the onsen was wonderful. Everyone enjoyed feeding the koi in the morning. Would highly recommend this location to anyone wanting a quiet place to stay and enjoy the mountains. Our whole group left happy. "

"The ryokan at entrance was beautiful. The lobby and the whole lower floor was spectacular. Loved how walking inside your completely transported to a Japanese experience with bridged walkways shaped of arcs and where there was ponds underneath lthose bridges. Great location and nice clean hotel

"This hotel has excellent view and convenient to go to Mt. Fuji tourist attractions and drive to the 5th station for a hike or just the view of Mt. Fuji. The lake also has a nice path to walk and the hotel has good breakfast. There are many restaurants nearby with a short drive. The hotel is very clean and the wifi works well."

"The host (Hiro) was super helpful and very kind. Before our stay, he reached out to us to ask if we wanted to be picked up at the train station. We took him up on his offer and our ride was there on time waiting for us when we arrived. He then drove us to a local supermarket so we could get groceries, and he waited for us there patiently. At our villa, the host walked us through the place and showed us how to operate everything. He then provided us with bus maps, suggestions to eat and shop, told us about the fall/autumn "festival" that was taking place during our stay, and gave us general local guidance. Super helpful! The Villa was a great space that suited our needs (family of four), and was nothing fancy. But while in Kawaguchiko we were out and about, so didn't need luxury. My only disappointment, albeit a small one, was that I was expecting an outside multi person hot tub, but it was a large in-bathroom Jacuzzi. This was still great in the end. To wrap up or stay, the host also drove us back to the train station with all our luggage. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Great value."
