"Not as good as it used to be. Lots of cut backs. Cheap toilet rolls. Only 2 tea bags. No biscuits. 2 coffee 2 sugars. And 2 stir stick. No teaspoons anymore. Qaulity of breakfast not as it used to be. Cheaper products everywhere. No granola. Muesli, cheap cornflakes or cheap cocopops. Yogurt watery. Fruit hard. Bread was nice. Nice butter. Hp sauce a bonus. Coffee machine did a tasty latte and cappuccinos. Staff always friendly. "

"I decided to try this instead of a conventional hotel room.The fully equipped kitchen meant I was able to cook for myself, so I could eat what I wanted.The apartment was very comfortable, especially the bed. I would recommend this to anybody considering a normal hotel room, since there was little difference in costs."

"Fabulous location minutes from the city centre shops and local restaurants. On entry, reception desk location is easy to miss as its in a corner snd not easy to see from the entrance. We had to ask reception to increase the heating as we were unable to adjust within the room. Need to do a bit more work with housekeeping, dropped a ring on the floor and had to move th bed, which highlighted that the space underneath hadnt been cleaned in a while. "We didnt have any heating in our room but when we told the reception staff they changed us to another bedroom, however the tv didnt work in that one but we werent bothered about that. We did tell the staff about it in the morning who said they were letting maintenance know about it. All the staff were lovely."

"The hotel was clean and the rooms although small, had everything we needed. The only issue we had with the rooms were the pillows. Not enough support even though they looked the part. Breakfast was very nice and set us up for the day and was reasonably priced too. All in all, we'd give this hotel a thumbs up. It was well located for the centre of Birmingham and although it has parking, we booked a space at the car park next door, in the VIP section, and we're very pleased."

"This was a great value stay in the vicinity of Drayton Manor. The staff were attentive and helpful and the hotel is attached to the services. The reception is not manned in a morning but it didn't really cause any issues other than trying to buy some breakfast vouchers. However we did manage to get some via help from a member of the team."
