"We loved the location of the property. It’s up on a beautiful hill across from the main town. The cabins are awesome. However, the property is extremely dirty, trash everywhere, and the worse part is that there seems to be no trash collection in the area and the property’s management burns the trash, there are piles of trash throughout the property. A shame for such a beautiful landscape, and obviously not very environmentally focused. If, and when, they create a more environmentally...
"Nice comfortable property and quite reasonably priced. The owner was very polite and courteous extremely helpful. He called me prior to my visit to let me know that my room is ready and on the day of my departure. He was kind enough to find a taxi for me. Superb service"
"It was super quiet and relaxing and very private. The host was great and super friendly and responsive! It was a close walk to the beach and other restaurants as well as the neighborhood being quiet. It was a great experience, definitely plan to come again."
"Beautiful structure, clean room and owner and staff were lovely. Close to the beach and grocery store. It was a bit of a walk to town but very pleasant."
"Great location at the end of the main street right next to the beach. You can hear the waves crashing at night if you listen. Birds singing in the morning. Comfortable room with a great shower. Friendly staff. Great dining options close by very walkable. We really enjoyed our stay and we will be back."
"We have stayed several places in Sayulita and Casa Pata Salada is our new favorite. Adorable casita with an ocean view and close to everything. We will definitely stay here again. "
"Long wait time to check in due to bad card terminal
Bathroom was found semi clean (stuff from previous guest were left behind)
During check out we were told to fill out a review in front of the staff which made awkward to be honest with my review lol"
"La propiedad y el anfitrión muy bien, las albercas tienen agua a buena temperatura y fácil acceso a la playa. El único punto regular es la comida que venden dentro, tiene buena presentación pero es cara y no muy buena, este último punto se soluciona llevando alimentos preparados por uno mismo.
Si vuelvo a regresar"

"Krystal Grand was very clean with workers always working to maintain cleanliness. So friendly and helpful even with language difference. It can get very loud with activities and music. The food was adequate but not exceptional. Most appreciated was the workers and hospitality! Pools were great, both family pool and adult pool with ocean views! The beach was safe and accessible! Highly recommend for an all inclusive resort!"

"I have to be honest, at first I was sad cause the property it’s older, the rooms, the common areas, they just got bought and the entire property it’s being renovated. The second day I was in love….. the people that work there were so friendly, polite and willing to help with whatever. We got to made friends with some of the staff too, recommended us the best restaurants in town, Bucerias and PV and I’m not taking about fancy upscale places I’m talking in town local food. The best food! Restaurant inside the resort are not that great food in not that season, but they do have to cater for a lot of different people coming from around the world so that’s understandable. The Wi-Fi is not the greatest but again it is a lot of people using it at the same time. The hotel is in the best area you can walk anywhere it is a safe area. We never had an issue and we were walking in town until 10/11 PM. "

"The gardens and grounds were immaculately kept, the staff were friendly and service was prompt. The rooms are some of the nicest we’ve stayed in. Balcony view of sunsets was spectacular. Plenty of dining options and the cappuccino cafe was a great on-site perk. The larger quiet pool was peaceful and pristine. Always free loungers at the beach and pools in July. Beach had brown sugar sand, nice water and waves. Some vendors will approach but leave you alone if you say no thanks. Fabulous massages available on the beach (not connected with Riu). I can’t comment on the Riu spa or gym as I didn't use them. Live music in the lobby was nice. Sports bar was good with excellent entrees. A la carte dining varied from
excellent to very good. Buffet had theme nights and many times we found their meat and fish options to be some of the best we’ve had on a buffet ever. For those with gluten restrictions the buffet had a gluten free station and most of their items in the other stations had the allergy symbols posted for wheat, fish, peanut, egg, dairy etc The Riu app shows the a la carte restaurants and menu items can be filtered by allergy. I had zero issues with cross contamination during my stay. "
