"Coral Strand is one of the only hotels that truly is on the beach. The hotel in general needs updating badly but the amenities served their purpose fine. We asked for well-blended piña coladas, but the staff did not understand how tourists prefer their drinks. Mahek restaurant is the best for lamb curry. Find other food elsewhere."

"Our time on the island was as enchanting as the name of the hotel. Location, staff and service, the quality of the food and drink, the feel of the resort and the tranquility of the property were perfect. We spent most of our time on the island and in our room and we always had the feeling that we were well taken care of and all our requests were heard and fulfilled with genuine consideration and care. The massages at the property were 5star and were delivered amongst the beautiful nature of the island. The beaches were like a postcard - clean and beautiful. Easy and flexible travel between the island and the mainland. The property was really clean and staff were always busy and attentive. You will never regret choosing this hotel. You will feel all the Seychelles vibes, whilst feeling safe and taken care of. "

"If you are not on an all-inclusive cruise package the extras are too expensive. £5 for a child’s ice cream is not acceptable. Other than that, the hotel, area and stay was idyllic."
