"The hotel has a lot of public surfaces, which is good. The room we had was big enough for our luggage. There are no lifts, so if you have strollers, ask for 1st floor. The stuff is helpful, but not all of them speak English, which can be an issue if you are not speaking Spanish. The hotel restaurant has various food options to choose from, but it is expensive. The prices on the menu are excluding taxes , so pay attention. I would definitely comeback. "

"Toilets did not work. We paid for one king size bed and was given twin beds. I had to spend two hours to resolve the problem, yet was not given a late check out."

"Went last week of April, so some rain. Ocean was great, with great snorkling right off the shore. We saw a flounder, rays, pufferfish, lobsters, plus reef fish. Coral is growing but looks young. Loved the excursions with viva, they had tour guides that spoke multiple languages. Staff was friendly. Room was basic but the grounds were beautiful with ducks, birds, and igunanas. Food was adequate but lacked flavor. Yes I would go again."

"Stayed as a single person for 1 night. The property seems to be renovated recently and it’s like the pictures shown. Clean rooms and overall a good place to stay. I gave it 4 star because the rooms are not sound proof and the room I had was close to the reception so there was a lot of noise"

"It was a great stay for what it was intended for. Close to beach. Close to shops. Close to restaurants. The bed was comfortable, there was tv in the room. Only coffee in the morning. Do not expect breakfast. We had parking. Easy check in and the security person on sight was helpful! He gave great suggestions for the area. The property is well cared for. It was a clean hotel with a fan and air conditioning. Take pictures at the sign. "

"This property is very unique. It is located in a very busy area of La Romana. The word "Oasis" is exactly the right word for this hotel. It was a clean, very well designed hotel with a beautiful mural that you might miss if you were just driving through. But the best part was the staff. Everyone, from the owner, the manager and even people working on the building of their soon to be opened pool, treated me like I was a guest in their home. "What an amazing hotel very clean and safe. Room is spacing. Food was poor, they need to change their menu. The ladies in the restaurant are not too welcoming. The front desk young men are so helpful and friendly . Poolside loved it. I give a 7.5 out 10. Just because the food was not good and the service in the restaurant. Over all everything was great! "

Whether it’s at check-in, dining, or just walking around the property, you can expect excellent service. However, there are some drawbacks to consider. One of the main issues is the lack of air conditioning in the resort’s restaurants, which can make dining uncomfortable, especially during hot weather. Additionally, some of the rooms could use an update, as they feel a bit outdated compared to the overall resort's charm.
