"This is a great spot for meeting fellow travelers and organizing tours from. Like others have said, definitely a party hostel with free drinks from 7-11 pm. The private room bed we had was pretty hard, so a little rough sleep. Breakfast and coffee included in your stay. There are quite a few restaurants nearby or its an easy ride into El Nido town proper. "

"I would highly recommend staying at Bahala Na Villas! Staff were so friendly, kind, and accommodating. The actual villa itself is stunning, prestige, and very clean. "The property is indeed unique and very beautiful. The rooms overlook the sea and the staff are totally charming and cannot do enough for you. That is the wonderful thing for this hotel. The beach is right there and the sea beautiful. But the furniture and bedding needs updating. My only reservation for that. Updating required as our air conditioning did not work. "

"I like a lot the beach and the position, the care and attention by the working team and the excursions to the nearby islands that I believe it is a must should you are getting there from far away. The restaurant is a bit expensive compare to shore ones (but it is also an island and logistic cost) and the excursions are a bit expensive but they were private ones and we really had a good time and enjoyed them all."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Golden Monkey. The staff was great. The breakfast in the morning was good and filling with strong brewed coffee served by a nice girl named Vanz. There was another server, but I missed her name. The wonderful July at the desk arranged our tour and rides to the airport. Pads the tuk tuk driver was great, also helped carry our luggage to the second floor room with a great view. It’s not a high end resort, but very comfortable with a short ride or 15 minute walk...

"Staff was great, friendly, courteous and helpful in guiding on daily activities.. Food at the resort was convenient and good, if you don’t want to travel far for food. We had breakfast there every morning and left on time for our island tours. Many motor tricycles just outside the resort. "

"The pool has great amenities and great staff. The breakfast was okay. Some good local food. The rooms are very interesting and has lots of automation. But are small. So just be aware. The other thing is that it needs abit of a clean in some areas like bathroom and needs some pest control as we had a roach in our room curtain "
