Bathroom grout needs replacing Grubby chair in our lounge area The list was long That said the staff were amazing especially Volcan who went the extra mile. Ask him to give you directions to a nearby restaurant. "Not the cheapest place to stay, but reasonable by western standards, especially given the high level of service in a classic, elegant building in an excellent location. The spa services - especially the packaging of massage and hammam - were wonderful (though, again, not very cheap by Istanbul standards). The breakfast was excellent and included made-to-order eggs. The room was very comfortable, with all the amenities one would expect in a high-end hotel. "

"GLK Acropol staff was very kind and helpful throughout our stay in Istanbul, especially Mustafa and Emre. Hussein at reception was helpful in arranging the Bosphorus Cruise for us as well as transfer back to IST on our departure day. Although the hotel is a bit old, the management has kept it well maintained. The location of the hotel is phenomenal, however do keep in mind there several bars on this street, if you sleep in early be aware it can be some what noisy at night. "
