"Don’t let the location fool you. It looks to be outside of Skaneateles and technically that is true, but it is 5 minute drive next to the lake with beautiful homes, etc. The building itself is beautiful, old but with a lovely aesthetic. It feels homey, but one that an interior designer designed. From board games to an ice machine at the ready while in front of the fire…it was delightful. "Great location, well maintained, clean, affordable and the staff member was friendly. My only concern was that the interior of the main door to the room did not have another layer of safety, which would be a lock from the inside only.The door only has a deadbolt, so anyone with a spare key or ability topic the lock would be able to enter. I would suggest an inside bar lock. Otherwise it was a great place and we would stay again."

"I liked the place we were staying in but definitely bring your own blanket cause they only give you one. The bed was huge and and comfy and the room felt like a cabin which was cool and it was a pretty big room. The only thing was the bathroom was a little dirty when we got there but just the shower. I would stay here again! "

"What a marvelous snowy getaway at 2W Lake B&B! Host Clark was attentive, responsive, and provided a wealth of knowledge about the area. We especially enjoyed relaxing conversations with him after he served sumptuous morning meals. The room was immaculate, well-appointed, and quite cozy with a stunning lake view. Highly recommend!!"
