"Extraordinary building, if not too overwhelming as a hotel. Great spa. Unfortunately it's right under flights taking off from nearby Chennai airport so at the poolside it's constant flight noise and could hear airplanes from inside room all through the night. Really comfortable bed, great linen. Great breakfast, but also noisy in restaurant with very irritating piped music. Also too noisy with music in lounge. Try turning down the noise in hotel you can reduce please, if you can't stop...

"For most part. Their buffet doesn't always mention ingredients of their dishes and their dining staff are not educated about the ingredients. My daughter a allergic reaction to a dish which had nuts which she is allergic to! We asked the server who said it’s nut free and she checked with souz chef who also said it was nut free.
