"Nice Location. I stayed for 2 days and had wonderful experience with respect to room service and Restaurant. Travel to the resort in the rocky road is not that great. Would recommend this Resort only if the roads are laid."

"Where to strat... Of all the hotels and homestays we have been in India, this is by far the worst experience. We chose this hotel because of its location, overseing Ooty, and because of the homely ambiance that transpired in their web site. When we first stept in to our room we noticed a odor of dampness, but as the door and windows had been left open, it wasen’t so bad. "On checking into my room Jan 27th, I found no hangers in closet, no hand towels in bathroom, soiled floor and a dirty floor towel in the bath room. The breakfast area is chaotic with poor oversight or food replenishment. Untrained staff. My room was changed to club room by the hotel mgt. Moving into the room I found the closet door (one half) jammed, no toilet paper and the fridge not working. There is a basic feeling of being let down. Unhappy with my stay though staff lacking motivation....

"This has to be the best stay I had ever! Staff was very accomodating. They were very helpful in extending my checkout time when I got stuck elsewhere. After checkout, I forgot a pair of pants in my room. They mailed my pants back to me. No other place go to this extend for customer care. Wah Taj! "

"My very first hotel on my very first visit to India over 21 years ago was a Trident Hotel (Gurgaon) and over the years I have been fortunate to stay in others (eg Bhubaneswar) I finally was able to stay in Trident Chennai, one which has been on my list for a while now. Well it was worth the wait as I have been completely blown away by the wonderful team here. Nothing seems to be too much trouble I have been treated as if I was a VIP. With all things I acknowledge it is a team effort but there are some who I belive deserve special recognition and they are the perfect hosts Mubashshir and Adhithya in the Bar in particular who have looked after me so incredibly well, even to the point of somehow immortalised me in edible chocolate! There are others who went the extra mile and deserve to be recognised, such as the kind gentleman Bala (I hope I got the name correct) at the Spa; and also Rupa in the Bar. Trident, Chennai you have some wonderful team members who are beyond 5 🌟. If you are fortunate to be coming to Chennai and are wondering where to stay, I heartily commend the Trident Chennai to you."
