"We had a really warm, friendly welcome from the lady at the reception desk when we arrived. Our room was comfortable & clean. The rooms are big. There's not a hug amount if furniture in the rooms but it exactly as pictures show and funtional. The bar area was nice, very quiet but didn't bother us. "The chalet was old but the bed linen was spotless. The facilities were good a sink and kettle and microwave and toaster. The bathroom was very tired in appearance but the shower was excellent. "The room was comfortable and quiet. The view from the window was amazing - you are right on the river and look out onto the water meadows. We have dogs, the hotel is very dog friendly, and could walk out of the door straight onto the fields. The staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. Would definitely stay here again."
