"The Kensington had a high class feel for an affordable price tag. We picked them over other hotels in the area becsuse they had a working pool, hot tub, and sauna. I think they have the largest pool of any hotel in the area... and it was a big and deep pool, but it was too cold of a pool to get to enjoy it very much at all. "The staff at check in and departure were most friendly and cheerful. The included evening snacks and the comp beversges ( wine cocktails beer) were well received by all. The rush at breakfast and evening food times makes seating a challenge at times. While only there for 2 nights, those 2 nights on a crappy well used mattress was about all I could take. Investing in a good mattress to replaced old worn ones would be a good start. "

"Clean, efficient hotel with easy access to everything we wanted in Grand Rapids. Location made the choice, since more expensive than hotels farther south, closer to the airport, but quite a bit less expensive than downtown."
