"This would have been a fantastic stay but we did book economy rooms and they were fairly basic compared to the rooms with private terraces onto the main gardens. Economy rooms seem to be for the drivers (mini bus and coach drivers etc) so I recommend checking where your room will be and perhaps going up a level. "

"We had a family trip stay for 3 nights. Arrived late at night and was warmly greeted and would have given us food if we needed but we ate on the way. Friendly , helpful staff were excellent all around. Food was good to average but the service top notch! We enjoyed time by the pool was lovely. Meerkat safari was arranged for us, then we went to High gate Ostrich farm had a terrific guide Jonathon was so fun! "The location and grounds were stunning and incredibly well kept. The children had lots of green space to play and explore and be up close with the animals. Our deck was expansive which made for lovely evenings watching the sun go down behind the hills and the sky change colour. The beds were incredibly comfortable which was a pleasant surprise as we have bad backs and often struggle to sleep while travelling. While the decor was an older fashioned style, everything was in pristine condition and...
