Hotels with Balcony in Kagoshima Prefecture

"We stayed in one of the bigger rooms with the outdoor bath. Only fits one at a time for adults but the deck and upper deck are beautiful. Room is overall clean, big and kitchen was great considering the island food opens late and closes early. A car is needed to access and anyone visiting Yakushima needs a rental car. I don't think it is possible to enjoy it as much without one after being there. The staff and owners are wonderful people and really treat their guests like gold. The tankan juice...

The owner was very welcoming, speaks excellent English, and clearly takes pride in the property, which is in a quiet and scenic spot but a short drive from town and convenient to arrival/departure points.
