"Perfect hotel for 3 nights in Reykjavik! We booked a double room with balcony, but we were disappointed that the bed was smaller than we expected and was right against the wall. Reception staff were lovely and upgraded us to a deluxe room (thank you again)… this room was fantastic. The common areas were ample, warm and inviting. The hotel is right next to the whale boat tours and about 15 minute walk to the centre (but with lots of bars and restaurants to pop into on the way)."

"The area arriving the hotel had limited option for souvenir shoppers. There were taxis always available and one hotel employee, Natty, was excellent! She was extremely helpful and resourceful having staff like her made a big difference in my stay."

"Overall, it was an amazing hotel. The restaurant had the best food I’ve ever eaten in my life. This really amazed and shocked me. I’m from New Orleans which has the best food in the world and I’m difficult to please. The staff tried hard to answer questions and do things like order taxis. This is needed there as Uber doesn’t exist there. "
