"This hotel caters to a Japanese clientele which may have different expectations. Our room, furnished in the Japanese style, had a magnificent water view. The fixtures were well maintained but outmoded. We slept on futons on the floor. It had a shuttle bus that ran on a regular basis to the train station and ferry. "

"If you are going to stay in Fukuyama, stay here. I am from Seattle WA and I know good service. Not knowing japanese is obviously a huge downside to traveling to Fukuyama but I came to visit my grandma, so i really had no choice. The front desk went above and beyond, they would call her for me, help me make my random instant ramen dinners, and even walk around the desk to open the elevator for me when my hands were full. "It was short and pleasent. I liked how nice the staff was and Wi-Fi signal was great. Good tv coverage and comfortable room. The place is a bit hidden but very close to a lot of things, including convenience stores,shopping malls and the Fukuyama station."
