"Lovely place on Miyajima away from the busy shopping area but not a far walk from the terminal, maybe 15 minutes and still very accessible to the main shopping street, itsukashima shrine, the rope way all the good stuff if still less than 5-10 minutes walking distance. Very clean, lovely bath and shower facilities very nice after a long day of walking. The people who run it are incredibly sweet and you can see they truly care about your experience. Couldn’t give it higher praise! "

"This is an old merchant house that has been nicely remodeled as a hotel. It's smack in the middle of Tomonoura's historic renewal district. The room I had was spacious, comfortable, and nicely designed. This hotel requires some pre-planning: getting the shuttle bus from Fukuyama, making sure basic needs are met (no onsite staff, except at breakfast time).
