The balcony offered lovely views of the surrounding greenery, and everything in the room worked perfectly—from the climate control to the hot water. The food at the resort was consistently good throughout our stay. The restaurant served a nice variety of options, and every meal we tried was fresh and flavorful. Dining with a view made the experience even better. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. We felt well taken care of the entire time. Check-in and check-out were quick, and the team was attentive without being intrusive. The resort also had a few thoughtful extras like indoor games and open lounge areas, which added to the relaxed vibe of the place. Overall, Hill River Resort delivers great value for money. It’s a clean, well-managed property with a welcoming atmosphere, good food, and a beautiful setting. The location was perfect—close to the main temple—with an amazing view from our room. The room was bright and modern, making it easy to relax without feeling pressure to go out. Premium Room was of decent size and all amenities were present; housekeeping team was sincere in cleaning and making room great. The hill view from balcony was spectacular and enchanting. It was so relaxing to sit and enjoy tea/coffee with the blissful view of the hills. The staff were very friendly and courteous, right from the check-in experience, Mr Ajay at front desk provided detailed information around McLoedganj attractions and took good care of us. The things that can be further improved are addition of salads in the buffet breakfast and availability of indoor activities like carrom, chess etc for kids."
