"Parking was nightmare. Had to park in the dark, muddy, wet car park and walk to the reception getting covered in mud. Went for a drink in the bar and the girl who didnt speak very good english had the personality of a dead fish. Then when we tried to sleep the room was boiling and the windows didn't open so had an awful nights sleep. Breakfast took ages and we had to watch a group be sat, served and fed before ours turned up. Won't be back but it wasn't a bad hotel. "

"We stayed to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday. It was very clean, staff very friendly too. The spa is very relaxing with pool, jacuzzi, sream room and sauna.We didnt use the treatment side of it or the gym but definitely recommend. Rooms very spacious and beds are super comfy. Will definitely be returning and highly recommend."

"The ABode is in a central location in Chester which makes it very convenient for walking to plenty of restaurants and shops. The river Dee, park and Roman Amphitheater is also within easy walking distance. Not all rooms have a bath and a shower, therefore you will need to specify your preference when booking or checking in. The room was a nice size and the bed was really comfortable. "Beautiful hotel very clean lovely food we had a great stay and will definitely going back in the summer the only thing we didn’t expect was you have to pay for parking I didn’t read anything about it when I was booking the hotel so when you add it to your stay could put people off booking "

"What you want when you need a hotel for an overnight stay is warmth a decent TV and good beds and shower. Service is sort of secondary, however this hotel hit the mark everywhere. Well sized rooms a really good large TV and free room WiFi. It also didn't break the bank, hats off to them .. I would go back there in a heartbeat "
