Our room was ideal for just a place to sleep , shower and put our stuff. Very warm , and we was able to open window. To me this is a major plus in a hotel. Great value for money."

"My daughter and I went to visit family and have to say this was the best hotel by far that we have stayed in whilst in Torquay. (we have used many over the years) They had thought of everything and the attention to detail was superb. I am Gluten Free, the breakfast area had GF bread and cereal well away from any cross contamination with a dedicated toaster just for GF bread. Will definitely stay again in the future. "

"We had a fantastic two-night stay at Hotel du Vin in Exeter. The breakfasts were excellent, and we enjoyed delicious drinks and nibbles at the bar while staying warm by the wood burner. The location is great—an easy walk into town—and the overall atmosphere was lovely. However, there was one frustration with the hotel’s parking system. We had reserved a spot, which was great when we arrived as our name was displayed clearly. But when we returned in the evening, someone else had parked in our space. Unfortunately, the hotel was unable to assist and suggested we park in someone else's reserved spot. I would suggest the hotel implement a better system perhaps a parking pass system. Additionally, a polite notice could be placed on the windscreen of any car parked in a reserved spot, explaining that the parking is reserved. Despite this, we enjoyed our stay."
