"We had a lovely stay in a comfortable and spacious room overlooking the estuary. Our room had a small table and two chairs as well as a side table for hot water kettle and tea and coffee fixings. There was plenty of room for two of us with a gorgeous view. "

"Loved the room and the view, staff were really friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. One issue was that there was a wine stain on the carpet beside the bed, I reported it to the cleaning staff as I didn’t want them thinking it was our fault. They cleaned the room each day but did nothing about the stain on the carpet. The other issue was the water pressure, there was a lovely big bath but it took an age to fill up"

"Great hotel and lovely stay. It is on an estuary along a narrow lane (single track in parts) and nearest town/shops a good 30 minute walk with some extremely steep parts to climb, so not for the less able in my opinion. However, a great spot to visit other pretty places if you dont mind relying on your car daily. "

"Wonderfully relaxing stay, fabulous suite and excellent experience with massage in spa. Food in restaurant in the evening was exceptional, selection of wine generous. A very warm group of staff, helpful accommodating and just generally fantastic. "

Perfect 1 night get away

"Great 1 night stay. Lovely room with super king size bed. Walk in shower with shampoo conditioner and shower gel (all good quality) Fridge in room (so bring your own drinks, snacks) Fantastic free breakfast - cooked, pastries, make your own waffles - great selection! Will stay again if can get similar rate to what we paid"

Wonderful stay

"I arrived late to a very chirpy chap at reception which was lovely. Directed to my room which was a lovely size with all creature comforts. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was also a pleasant experience. The food was of excellent quality. Checking out was easy. I would definately stay here again "
