Beach Resorts in Chumphon Province

"It was a great place to hide from the real world. Nice room, good food, but pricey. Lots of mosquitos, couldn’t really sit outside my a/c room in the evening. The spa was wonderful. There was nothing to do in the neighborhood. No public transportation at all. In our room there was a description of their pool(s) that they had a second pool on the beach front. "When we arrived the old man at the desk had trouble finding our reservation. He did not speak any English, and my Thai is not very good. He called another woman who spoke a little bit of English and who helped him find our reservation. The hotel is older, but the room was clean enough. The beds were quite hard, and there was space between the doors, allowing mosquitos inside. The location is quite out of the way. If you don't have your own transportation, I don't recommend staying here. ...
