"Was a little bit worried when see reviews about people struggling to get deposit back. Mentioned this upon arrival and they only took a pre authorisation on my card so no money was deducted. The place was clean, the oven didnt work but wasnt to bothered as we were only there 1 night and didnt really need to use oven. It was nowhere near as bad as what i was expecting from reading reviews."

"The staff were very helpful on check in. Called to give directions and then met us outside to show us in and how to use the key fobs etc Only negative was there wasn’t a frying pan or any salt/pepper. "

"5 minute walk to the town centre which was really great! Clean inside, lovely place. Only downside was in the description it didn’t say there was 3 levels in the apartment, having 3 young kids it wasn’t kid friendly but problem solved because there was a sofa bed and 2 extra pullout beds upstairs so my younger children could stay on the top floor with me and my partner. Great price I paid was very impressed! "

"Rather disappointing. Lots of space in this apartment style hotel but fittings were basic and everything rather 'tired'. Online check-in a real trial and rather pointless. Not much in the immediate area although only a 10 minute walk to Salford quays. Take care with security. My motorcycle was stolen 5 minutes after I arrived while checking in. Owners very unhelpful re. CCTV.... I know the theft wasn't the hotel's fault - just advising care in the surrounding area."

"I had a great stay at Charles Hope townhouse. This is a great location with the train available to travel to Old Trafford for a football game or making our way to the central retail district. Overall the property was clean, however had a few minor defects: - towel with holes and stain on them - mild stains on the bedsheet - stain on the carpet near the bed - washer detergent feeder has a lot of residue from previous stay. - dish washer has residue from previous stay - it had a funky smell when...

"I did not get a stay, this apartment is a SCAM. Had this booked, received an email from the property owner the day before claiming the property was no longer available due to a leak and that I would receive a refund. I did not receive any refund and have been ignored ever since, I have messaged multiple times and tried calling, I have tried to get help from hotel.com and they have not helped at all either. AVOID at all costs."
