"My husband and I spent 3 nights here in celebration of my 40th birthday. The grounds were lovely, as was our room. We had a wonderful view of the ocean! I also liked that everything on the resort was easily accessible. The AC unit was great and kept the room cool and comfortable. The mini bar included wine, soda, juice, water and tea/coffee. "The food in their restaurant was less to be desired. Their private island was closed and as a guest of the hotel we are charged a fee upon checkin which is an additional fee to the reservations for items related to visiting the private island I.e., beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, boat taxi service to and from the island. We were charged the full price even though the hotel had closed the island."
