"Right on the beach in StoneTown .This hotel is unmatched for location as well as service. Friendly and caring staff who are happy to assist with all your needs. Rooms were clean and comfortable with air-conditioned, a mini fridge, and kettle with coffee and tea provided. Great pool areas which were well maintained. A charming place with lots of history. I would definitely stay again!"

"Good Service Amidst Renovation Challenges We recently stayed at the hotel and had a mixed experience due to some unforeseen circumstances, but we still appreciated the efforts of the hotel staff to make our stay as comfortable as possible. When we arrived, we had booked an oceanfront room with two twin beds through Expedia. Unfortunately, the hotel was undergoing renovations, and none of the oceanfront twin rooms were available. "Great service and food. Employee Improvements reqd: Reda (the concierge) has no Customer Service skills, he is constantly busy on his mobile phone and so provides no help whatsoever to guests. Unfortunately, the Customer Service Team at the main desk also did very little to provide any help and support. Please note that all restaurants must be booked 48hrs in advance. Some employees mention it's 24hrs and some say 48hrs. The booking service needs improving. Doesn't tell you what restaurants are...
