"The hotel and the owner were fantastic. Service was friendly and the room was spotless, with every amenity that one could want. Location was convenient for in-town activities and also for the ski areas. For an American, the bed might seem a bit hard, but it was quite comfortable by European standards. Overall, I would give this hotel an excellent ratting."

"The breakfast was diverse and good. They charged me 10 Euros extra because my dog barked. This hotel is classified as pet friendly but there no dog park or place for dogs to find relief. Not one blade of grass."

"Room was nice, small but typical for European hotels. Air conditioner was on, but often it didn't feel like it (I'm also usually cold). Thermostat is controlled by office. We didn't complain though. Front office staff was friendly and helpful. Cleaning lady was great & kept room tidy. Local area of Montesilvano was kind of run down & didn't have many stores, but beach was nice. There is a grocery store & bike rental shop very close. Town of Pescara has more stores and is better kept. "

When she finally awoke and her husband had taken our details for the booking, she insisted on a guided tour of the ski room and room, despite not speaking a word of English, and us not speaking a word of Italian.
